Comfort Advantage Home

Whether you are building or remodeling your dream home, Singing River Electric’s Comfort Advantage program can help you save energy while maintaining comfort.
The Comfort Advantage Program was developed by cooperatives in Mississippi specifically for our climate and region. The standards set guidelines for heating and cooling, windows, insulation and more. (see below)

Comfort Advantage Plus is designed for those seeking a higher level of efficiency. These homes have stringent requirements that provide even greater comfort and lower utility bills.

Working with you

Singing River Electric representatives work with directly with members during the design phase of construction and perform heat load calculations in order to properly size heating and cooling equipment. We can also provide inspections throughout the construction process to ensure standards are met. Members who build Comfort Advantage homes are eligible for incentives upon completion of the home.

For more information on our Comfort Advantage Home or to find out about Comfort Advantage Incentives, please contact a member services representative at any Singing River Electric office.
