SRE employees raise nearly $14,000 for UWJGC

    LUCEDALE, MS –Singing River Electric employees recently helped raise nearly $14,000 for United Way for Jackson and George Counties. The 2007 United Way campaign was a great success raising overall over $1.7 million.

     "We appreciate the efforts of Singing River Electric Power Association and their employees," said United Way for Jackson and George Counties CPO Carolyn Moore. "It is with the help of everyone in the community that we can make a difference the United Way."
